What should a Game Programmer know how to do? As a game programmer I try to keep myself aware of several of the other disciplines in a gaming studio, including the game writing and design aspects of a game program so that I can more easily understand the why's of when something is asked of me. Using this mental check I can keep ahead of the considerations and participate more fully in the project when the time comes. Why do you think a game programmer should keep them self involved with?
